SEMA has changed a bit this year due to COVID-19 with the entire show being virtual, renaming the event SEMA 360! First up, we have event coverage from SEMA 360, starting with Trucks. The Trucks of SEMA had a huge year this year with Ford announcing their new F150 and Bronco! You won’t want to miss out on the Chevrolet C10 that placed in the Top 5 for Battle of the Builders! Next up is Domestic Cars. This year, for the first time since the award was created, a 1963 Chevy 2 Door Wagon took home the Battle of the Builders award! Toyota announced that they have a new … [Read More...] SEMA 360 Domestic Cars December 1, 2020 By KZ SEMA 360 Domestic Cars was held in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 2nd-6th, 2020. Normally, SEMA would have been held in person, but due to COVID-19 and for the safety of others, SEMA decided to do a virtual event instead. Although the event wasn't in person, it's still our belief that the domestic may have stolen the show again! In the Top 40 for the Battle of the Builders, over half of the rides were domestic vehicles. As always, all of the vehicles in the Top 40 were unique in their own way and all deserved an award! This year, a 1963 Chevrolet Full Custom 2 Door Wagon took home the award! The award won by Brady Ranweiler, the Chevy Wagon is the first wagon to take home the award in the seven-year of it's existence! The Chevy Wagon features a 509 Cubic-Inch Chevy Big Block engine, a two-door body conversion, a full custom interior from M&M Auto Interiors with a red and black treatment, and EVOD Industry wheels with Pirelli tires. Normally, SEMA would have been held in person, but due to COVID-19 and for the safety of others, SEMA decided to do a virtual event instead. These 2WD trucks are not like any other, these trucks have been lifted, lowered, painted, wrapped, and so much more. It would not be normal SEMA coverage without some 2WD Trucks! This year, Ford displayed their all new 2020 Ford Mustang Mach-E, Bronco, Bronco Sport, and F-150. The Ford F-150 exterior has been redesigned with a newly updated headlamp, power dome hood, and wrap-around bumpers. Included in the redesign is higher front fenders, a tucked-in midsection, and larger-diameter tires. There are 11 grille options available across the series lineup. Functional upgrades include available LED headlamps and tail lamps, and available full-length extended power running boards with a kick switch that provide better truck-side cargo box accessibility. The Off-Road market has been known to showcase the big, bold, and fast vehicles that show all of the new and improved products. You could still see those products and vehicles, but we are here to show you just some of the new products and rides that were at SEMA 360! This year, Toyota was prepared to show off their newest creation, a Toyota Tacoma capable of 370 horsepower and 330 pound-feet or torque. It also has a suspension lift, Toyota E-Locker Differential, and aftermarket upper and lower control arms. (try to find picture) Another competitor against the Toyota, is the Ford Raptor. Normally, SEMA would have been held in person, but due to COVID-19 and for the safety of others, SEMA decided to do a virtual event instead. Many of these import rides were built specifically for SEMA 360, but compared to the previous years before, this had to have been the best year for the Imports! It's hard to find a vehicle at SEMA that you are not loving in some way! The graphics and smaller details that were on the Import Rides were AMAZING, there were so many small details that you couldn’t help but want to get closer and closer to get a better look. Check out this 1993 Mazda RX-7 owned by John Ubalde. This ride is powered by an LS1 V-8 engine out of a 2002 Chevy Corvette! Congratulations to John Ubalde for owning this SICK Mazda RX-7, it is for sure a show stopper of a ride! Although we … [Read More...] Severed in the Midwest 2020 December 1, 2020 By KZ Severed in the Midwest 2020 was held on August 15th-16th, 2020 at Caesars Southern Indiana Hotel and Casino in Elizabeth, Indiana. COVID-19 has ruined many things this year, but it did not ruin this show in any way! The show started early on Saturday morning at 8am, with vehicles starting to pour into the event, ready to be out of the house and back into the car show scene! Having everyone come back together to enjoy what they love the most is always a great time. The raffle started at 3PM and included custom pieces, Viair equipment, Air bags, Air Tanks, shirts, backpack, hats, tumblers, and so much more! It was one sick raffle that you would have wanted to make sure that you had participated in. Congratulations to everyone who went home with a prize from the raffle! Severed in the Midwest 2020 ended Saturday at 5PM and thankfully, the rain had managed to miss the event. The weather may be turning cold but this issue is HOT! Starting off with our event coverage, first up we have Camp-N-Drag 2020. If you have never attended this show, you’ll want to make sure you do because it is unlike any other! Next we have 5th Annual Bumpers for Boobies. This event brought out around 400 vehicles that all came in to support an amazing cause and raise awareness for Breast Cancer! Lastly, we have Beatersville 2020. COVID-19 may have caused some changes for the event but don’t worry, this was still an AMAZING show full of sick rides!
